In His final words to His followers, Jesus described the sphere of missions, not just for them, but for all believers in all times. That means that the Lord Jesus Christ calls us, as a church, to reach out to our community, our region, our nation, and the world.

As a body of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, Shepherd Gate Church is committed to an ever-expanding involvement in missions, both near and far. We believe that God has made us lights in the darkness and salt in the world -- a redemptive influence in our community and beyond our community.

Our church budget provides for financial support for missions at all levels, whether local, regional, national, or international, including various types of ministry, such as helping the poor and needy, proclaiming the gospel, and teaching. Additionally, we encourage individuals to give specific support through prayer and contributions to any endorsed ministry or person. Financial gifts for a missionary may be sent to Shepherd Gate. Checks should be made out to "Shepherd Gate Church" and a note enclosed indicating for whom the gift is intended.
