 Ministry to Women

When Jesus came to our world He demonstrated and declared a message that was radically different from anything the people of his time had ever seen or heard. We see the difference especially in His treatment of women. In the society of that time women were treated as second-class, more like property than persons. But Jesus honored each woman as a person loved by God. Along with his disciples there were many women who followed Jesus. Women were even present at His death on the cross, and were some of the first to see Him after His resurrection. Without question, women were special to Jesus.

They still are. That's why Shepherd Gate Church emphasizes women's ministry. We want to see every woman free to become all God wants her to be. Whether single, married, divorced, young or old, we encourage every woman to follow Jesus and experience the fulfillment only He can bring.

Here are just some of the special activities for women at Shepherd Gate Church:

Women in the Word - Quarterly Bible Study:  A discussion or presentation on a Saturday morning for those women who want an in-depth look at topics in God's Word.

Lunch Bunch:  Monthly covered dish lunch and fellowship taking place at different homes in vicinity of the church.
