Men

It’s a fact that most men do not have a close friend – someone in whom they can confide; someone who will be there when they need help or just someone to listen. We don’t want Shepherd Gate men to be among those without a close friend. We want to build men who know their identity in Jesus as their Lord and Savior, men whose lives are balanced, and who are developing into leaders in their homes, their workplaces, their church, and their community.

We want to see men at Shepherd Gate that are transformed into the likeness of Christ fulfilling their calling as men of God

Encourage men at Shepherd Gate to develop their personal relationship with the Lord thereby becoming ambassadors for Christ to their families and those they contact each day.

We encourage one-on-one relationships where men meet to share life’s experiences and grow in faith. One of the ways we do this is through our Men's Small Groups.  Scroll down to join.

The men are invited to join together quarterly at the church for breakfast, fellowship, and a message relevant to men.

This weekend away is held each spring at a quality retreat facility. Men hear encouraging Christian messages, build friendships, and enjoy a time apart.

Men’s small groups (4-8 men each) meet on a regular basis to study the Bible and talk about real-life issues that all men encounter.
