MEET THE PASTORS - August 3
We are so happy you have chosen to find out more about Shepherd Gate Church! Meet the Pastors is the introduction to Shepherd Gate Church, our pastors and core leaders, and what we value as a church family. Because our congregation comes from a variety of faith traditions, Meet the Pastors is designed to clearly communicate who we are and what we stand for. We invite you to join us for 1 hour directly after our main worship service for lunch + a time of connection! Free childcare will be provided.
GIRLS NIGHT OUT - August 4
SGC Girls are getting together Monday, August 4 at 7:00 pm on campus for a Girls Night Out! Bring your favorite ice cream topping + come ready for a fun night of ice cream and games as we spend time together. There's nothing like good, old fashioned girl time! See you then.
LOVE YOUR CHURCH DAY - August 9
Join us on August 9 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm on campus for Love Your Church Day as we get our church ready for the fall! Join us as we clean, organize, and make our church sparkle for all of our new guests and our upcoming school year.
CHURCH VISION NIGHT - August 10
Join us for Church Vision Night on Sunday, August 10 at 6pm as Pastor Clint shares the exciting vision for this fall at Shepherd Gate Church. Discover how you play a vital role in seeing this vision come to life as we pursue the Great Commission in the greater Washington, D.C. area. This is a night to go all in—to be inspired, equipped, and empowered with practical next steps to serve, connect, and make an eternal impact. Let’s come together as one church family to be an effective and essential part of our community for the glory of God.
SGC YOUTH CAMP TREAT - August 11-13
SGC Youth's Camp/Retreat Hybrid is HERE and we couldn't be more excited! Your student will encounter God in a new way at Camp-Treat with powerful worship experiences, dynamic messages, times of small group and fellowship, and of course, ALL of the fun camp activities: water tubing, pizza making night, movies under the stars, a GIANT slip and slide, and MORE. BACK TO SCHOOL SUNDAY - August 17
We will be praying over our students going back to school on Sunday, August 17 at 10:00 am. If you have or are a student returning to elementary school - high school, college, or a graduate program, we invite you to join us. We'd love to pray for you or your students as everyone heads back to school!
SUMMER OF PRAYER
This summer, we’re setting our hearts on intentional pursuit with Summer of Prayer. Starting June 18, join us in person every Wednesday at 6:30 PM in the Worship Center for a time of unified prayer and intercession. You can also tune in for Zoom prayer every Monday at 12PM and 7PM, or gather on Sunday mornings at 9:15 AM in the Youth Room for a powerful time of prayer before service. Let’s seek God together all summer long!
