Baptism Sunday
May 5– 10:00 am

Baptism is the public declaration of your faith in Jesus Christ.  We believe water baptism by immersion is subsequent of repenting of one’s sins and receiving Christ’s gift of salvation.   If you would like to get baptized, follow the link below to register.

Who can be baptized?

We believe that people of an age where they can recognize their sins, which we call "the age of accountability."  Therefore, we do not baptize young children until they are at the age where they can make their own personal decision to follow Jesus (Typically between ages 8-10 years old).  The only requirements for Baptism represented in the scriptures is to repent of one's sins and acknowledge Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Can I be baptized again?

Although re-baptism is not necessary.  Many people choose to be re-baptized for various reasons.  It could be that you were baptized at a young age and want to make a public declaration of your faith as an adult.  You also may choose to be re-baptized as a symbol of rededication to Jesus.  We leave these decisions  up to the individual and their relationship with God.

What will you will need?

We will provide a T-Shrit and towel.  Bring an extra pair of shorts to change into and any toiletry items you need after the baptism.

When will baptism take place?

Baptisms will take place during the worship service.  There will be a baptism table in the foyer where you can pick up your T-Shirt and towel.  We provide ample time for you to change into your clothes.  Our Baptism attendant will direct you on how and when to proceed to the baptismal at the front of the sanctuary.
